Our Northstar MicroHomes Vision

  • In the face of America’s extreme housing crisis we have taking advantage of factory-manufactured modular housing units and environmentally and sustainable building technology like light gauge cold-formed steel construction to deliver stronger and much lighter affordable housing solutions. The demand for affordable housing is outpacing supply nationwide and this must soon change. 
  • Provide Transportable & Expanding Modular Homes that adapt to changing climatic and land conditions. These units can be retracted to be road legally transported by a heavy-duty truck. These units were initially designed for areas prone to natural disasters such as fires, floods, rising tides, etc. Additionally, the floor plans had to function as a traditionally-built home by maintaining a single level floor plan for handicap accessibility throughout these residential modular structures.

Northstar MicroHomes Technology

  • This Transportable & Expanding Home has an evolutionary story based on creative industrial design and architecture that could physically support the structural loads and could be manufactured at a reasonable cost. These models were designed for homeowners that live in areas prone to natural disasters where it could be retracted or nested so it could be towed by a heavy-duty truck to safety in a reasonable amount of time. The maximum width dimension is 8'-6" and the maximum length is 40'-0". This is legal across the country. Models that are wider require state-issued towing permits in some states or "wide load" signage in others.
  • Our Outrigger System has operational attributes not found anywhere else in the housing manufacturing industry. Slide-out mechanisms do exist and are normally found in RV's and travel trailers. Some of these light-duty mechanisms are prone to binding which may cause them to malfunction. Our patented actuators are mechanically-paired together and share a common drive shaft which means they operate in unison so there is absolutely no binding. Because they are paired this means they operate symmetrically which simply means they extend and retract at the same rate. This feature keeps the full length slide-outs balanced along the model's longitudinal centerline which is essential for user safety.

Northstar MicroHomes Model 685

  • Model 685 is 685 gross square feet (GSF) at the extended shown position. The recessed or nested position is 8'-6" wide x 32'-0" long and the nominal extended width is 22'-2". In the nested position the floor area is 272 GSF. In the retracted position this modular unit can be legally towed behind a heavy-duty truck.  
  • Northstar MicroHomes models are custom manufactured to the buyer's specifications so there is some time involved in finalizing the approved build sheet. 
  •  Pricing. obviously the price per square foot at the extended position will vary greatly based on the exterior and interior finish material selections, appliance package selection, added features such as fireplaces and built-ins, roof type, floor type, and features such as light-weight deck and ramp kits.


  • A builder-grade base Model 685 is approximately $124K with quality doors & windows, laminate floors, and attractive upgraded exterior cladding. The modular building transportation cost is not included.

Investing in Northstar MicroHomes

  • We believe we are the new face of affordable, futuristic, and high-functioning housing that is transportable & expanding once these rigid light-weight steel-framed modular homes have found their destination, or multiple destinations, as the case may be. 
  • Our patented, motorized, symmetrical, and synchronized outrigger actuators have been under development for a year. These complex mechanisms have been developed in conjunction with Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) in Albuquerque, NM who provided a structural engineering report. This work was funded by a $40K grant from the New Mexico Economic Development Department to bring sustainable manufacturing jobs to rural NM.
  • Pre-manufacturing Mobilization Capital Raise Request. There is a period of time, due to startup expenses before any manufacturing enterprise is profitable which in our case should be 6-8 months due to the fact our modular units are direct sales based on actual purchase orders (PO's) and are manufactured at existing Albuquerque metal fabrication shops. 
  • $160K in raised capital is our goal in increments of $2500. This investment vehicle is in the form of Bearer Promissory Notes with a 1.5X ROI at 12 months and a 2X ROI in 24 months. When we are a SEC registered "C" corporation (2026) these notes qualify for a 3X stock purchase option.
  • Investment Proceeds will be used for a multitude of purposes including procuring the professional utility patent; repurposing existing manufacturing equipment; building material prepurchases;  purchasing manufacturing CNC software; final outrigger actuator engineered drawings; marketing and internet website expenses; tradeshow travel; and limited salary draws.
